A fast-paced beginners’ sewing class with instruction on how to sew on buttons and to hem dresses and pants, along with a few techniques from 1800s when sewing was a must-have skill. For anyone who would like to learn the basics of hand sewing. Taught in a one-room cabin, with an Old Texas aura added for free.

ONSITE: Hands-On Class. Taught the first Saturday of April, and by request, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. (1.5 hours). $45 per student.
