Soap has been around since ancient Babylon, and this fast-paced class brings you into the modern world on how to make this lathering cleanser. Everything you’ll need to know is covered, from ingredients to methods to the finished product, is covered. When you leave, you’ll be able to make your own scented or unscented soap with flourish.
Each student will work with a partner to make 2 pounds of cold process soap from scratch. They can expect to walk away with 1 pound of soap personalized with their own choice of essential oils and dried plants (the partners do not decide essential oils/dried plants together), and a detailed handout/recipe for future soapmaking.
Taught on selected Saturdays from 10 a.m. to Noon (2 hours). $160 per student. Enrollments must be completed one week in advance of class.
No refunds are allowed once the enrollment fee is received. Students who cannot attend a class for whatever reason may reschedule once , on a space-available basis, but must notify us in writing before the class begins at info@pioneerfarms.org. No exceptions.
