Banjo Lessons
Learn the basics of how to play a signature musical instrument in Texas and elsewhere during the 19th century: the banjo. This two-hour onsite class taught by resident picker Thom McNeil will give you the basics, so you can get started to strumming your way through Texas history at home.

Location & Duration: Tate House Office, 10 a.m. to Noon, 4 hours
Materials: Student required to bring banjo
Enrollment & Refunds
Enrollment must be completed at least one week before the class date.
No refunds are offered once the enrollment fee has been received.
If a student cannot attend, they may reschedule once on a space-available basis. To reschedule, students must contact us in writing before the class begins at info@pioneerfarms.org. No exceptions.

Ages 12–17 may enroll only if a parent or legal guardian also enrolls in and attends the class with them. No exceptions..
