Learn to play this signature instrument that came to the New World from Germany circa 1821, and became a common sound from the Colonies to the Texas frontier to the Chisholm Trail and beyond. This basics class will get you started on your melodious way to a new hobby, with instruction from our harmonica expert, Thom McNeil. Once known as a French harp or mouth organ, the harmonica is a free reed wind instrument used worldwide in many musical genres, notably in blues, American folk music, classical music, jazz, country, and rock. Harmonica required.

ONSITE: Hands-On Class. Taught on the fourth Sunday of March-November, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (2 hours), $75 per student. Harmonica required. (On sale in our General Store).

Important notice: No refunds are allowed once the enrollment fee is received. Students who cannot attend a class for whatever reason may reschedule once, on a space-available basis.
