Learn to play this signature instrument that came to the New World from Germany circa 1821, and became a common sound from the Colonies to the Texas frontier to the Chisholm Trail and beyond. This basics class will get you started on your melodious way to a new hobby, with instruction from our harmonica expert, Thom McNeil. Once known as a French harp or mouth organ, the harmonica is a free reed wind instrument used worldwide in many musical genres, notably in blues, American folk music, classical music, jazz, country, and rock.
