Visit the authentic site of a Tonkawa Indian encampment in the early 1800s, long before Texas was a state, and learn about how the First Texans lived, worked and played, and about how they interacted with the early Central Texas settlers. Includes visits to the three homesteads. A hands-on history class that will take your students back to the days of the Republic of Texas.  Reservations required. Guided tour. Minimum of 30 students required in group.

FEE: $6 per student/person attending. TIME: 4 hours, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

*Title 1 schools qualify for a discount of $1 per student. Title 1 status must be declared at the time of registration. This discount does not affect the required $50 deposit, and the discount will be taken off at the time the remaining balance is invoiced.
