DIA DE LOS MUERTOS: October 21-November 5
A special exhibit celebrates this popular cultural heritage event in Texas, where family and friends pay respects and remember friends and family members who have died. The tradition that came to Texas from Mexico features home altars and giving candy sugar skulls.
It is among the many cultural traditions that the early settlers brought to what is now Texas, and is what makes our present-day fabric as a state so wonderfully diverse.
The exhibit will be open during the day until November 5.
