HANDS-ON CLASS
Third Sunday of the Month, January-December (Youth class on third Saturday)

Spend an afternoon in this fun introduction to working with wood.  This is an easy introduction to the ancient craft of woodworking using traditional hand tools.   No prior experience is required as the instructor will be there to help you at every step.   You will drill holes with a bit and brace, cut wood with a vintage saw, and shape it with hand planes and rasps.   Everyone will go home with a beautiful project they made, just as the pioneers did it. Choose from one of these projects: Beer tap handle, rustic tool box (perfect for your tools or as a gift); Jenga puzzle set out of walnut and maple, or bird feeder or bat house made with cedar. Materials provided.
