AUSTIN GHOST TOURS: Two Wednesday nights in October
Ghosts, apparitions and things that go bump in the night will be the featured topic for exclusive nighttime ghost tours at Pioneer Farms before Halloween. Due to popular demand, they are being offered on a final two nights: Wednesday nights, Oct. 23 and 30. The tour on Thursday, Oct. 24, is sold out.
Please note that no tours are being offered on Halloween Night.
From our 1841 Tonkawa Encampment and 1866 German Emigrant Farm to our 1878 Texian Farm and 1886 Cotton Planter’s Farm, each location is filled with genuine artifacts and historical items that contribute to the lively spirit activity that has been documented on our grounds.
In each area you can step back in time and experience Texas history first-hand — and maybe even catch a glimpse of the people who have long since passed on, and yet somehow still remain.
These tours are in the dark and all about ghosts, hosted by Austin's one and only Austin Ghost Tours. Ghost sightings, unexplained events disembodied voices are all common occurrences at Pioneer Farms. This exclusive event is a platform to tell THEIR stories.
What is a ghost? Why are they interacting with people? Who exactly are the ghosts? Hopefully you will have your own experience with the unknown on this haunting historic tour and investigation.
Mark your calendars for these not-to-miss nighttime experiences, in a place with a documented history of ghosts, apparitions and other unexplained sightings that often ramp up in the weeks just before Halloween each year.
Gates open at 7:30 p.m. The 1.5-hour tours start promptly at 8 p.m. each night. No late admittances. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring a flashlight and water bottle. If you are afraid of ghosts, DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR.
Tickets are $30 for adults (age 16 and older) and $20 for children (age 15 and younger).
