THE MERCHANT OF MENACE: Sunday, June 16

A special stage show, “The Merchant of Menace,“ takes visitors back to the days in 1800s Texas when melodrama theater was a popular form of family entertainment.

This show presented by The Pioneer Players troupe and directed by noted Austin creative talent Garrison Martt showcases the typical damsel in distress, villian doing wrong and a brave hero who saves the day — just like

Showtimes are 1, 2 and 3 p.m. in our historic Wessels Hall. This sill be a special Father’s Day presentation that is surely not to be missed.

Regular museum admission includes the special shows.
