HAUNTED HALLOWEEN TRAILS: Last weekend, Oct. 28-29
Creepy scarecrows, ghost stories and all things scary will be featured at our annual Haunted Halloween Trails festival.
The Spook-tober extravaganza will be open on Friday and Saturday nights starting Oct. 14, from 7-10 p.m. nightly. Open rain or shine!
This year's event will feature three separate spooky trails each night — one for young children (amusing, rated G), another for those who want spooky surprises (rated PG) and a scary, scary trail for the adventurous (frights galore, rated PG-13).
Spook lights, ghoulish stories, pumpkins, food, drinks and souvenirs promise to add to the fun. Storytellers will be on site all nights to give visitors a peek into their past or future, along with other fun activities.
Food trucks will be on site each night: Evil Weiner, Stony's Pizza and Kona Ice on Oct, 21 and 28, and Emoji's Grilled Cheese, Red, White and Que BBQ Sandwiches and Kona Ice on Oct. 22, and Stony's Pizza and Kona Ice on Oct. 29.
Live music will be offered in our historic dance hall: Lily Lewis, Minor Keys, Morgan Nicole, Mango Rehab and Ayuma Experiment on Oct. 21, Morgan Nicole, Justice K, Minor Keys, Mango Rehab and Room 24 on Oct. 16, Rockeroni and Cheese, Lily Lewis, Minor Keys, Tuesday Night and Pantheon on Oct. 28, and Midnight Butterfly, Minor Keys, White Tiger, Justice K and Morgan Nicole on Oct. 29.
Admission is $12 a person, a real 1800s bargain for this spook-tenaous family fun event, Austin's legendary Halloween experience for all ages. It's family friendly, to boot.
