Every week, Pioneer Farms offers a variety of fresh seasonal produce and natural eggs for purchase in our General Store. The selection is changes each week, although eggs are available most every weekend. Most of the produce is grown on site from the spring until late fall, and at other times we supplement our veggie offerings from other commercial growers. Supplies are limited.

We are a certified GoTexan producer, and we employ green planting and harvesting practices that were used in the 1800s. We offer classes in farming and agriculture in our Pioneer School program of classes and workshops.

Our Pioneer Farmstand is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Potatoes, onions and other basic vegetables are available seasonally, along with tomatoes, peppers and some fruits. Natural, cage-free brown eggs are available each week for $4 a dozen, and white organic eggs are $6 a dozen.

To check to see what produce is available each week, call ahead: 512.837.1215. Through the end of 2015, brown and organic eggs are the only products available as our vegetables are out of season.

All proceeds from our Farmstand sales go to support our urban farming initiatives and historical programming.
