WEEKENDS: HORSE RIDES

Be a real Texas trail rider just like in the 1800s! Ride through Lone Star history. Horse rides available on some weekends for $5 each at our Sprinkle Corner village. Trail rides, special classes also available. Join us for the fun!

Experience Old Texas with Dad in an special Father's Day program on Sunday, June 16 at our Tonkawa Encampment. Flintknapping, black-powder rifle demonstrations, blacksmithing, more from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular admission.

See Austin's incredible horse-drawn past: Fancy carriages that governors and presidents rode in, buggies, wagons, even an original 1870s Texas stagecoach. Now open: "Wheels of Time" exhibit with fascinating vehicles from long ago.
