The crops are planted, wildflowers blooming, and it's time for a celebration! Come to Pioneer Farms on Saturday, May 2 for an afternoon featuring music by the Biscuit Brothers, dancing by the Contemporary Cloggers, kite flying, crafts, games, historic demostrations at all the homesites including quilting, spinning, weaving, and sheep shearing. See the award winning performance of Charlotte's Web by the Company Theater. Dress up in old time costumes and have your portrait taken! Be on guard for the The Lost Hope Gunfighters who will be sure to cause a few disturbances throughout the afternoon and drop by our Tonkawa Camp to visit with Native American re-enactors. Learn more about music popular during the 19th C. from the group STATIC CORRECTION, performing on the Texian Farm porch. Amy's Ice Cream will be set up near the stage so you may enjoy a cold treat while enjoying a performance by the BISCUIT BROTHERS. Come ready to shop til you drop along our Merchant's Row and plan to have a late lunch of hot dogs from the hot dog cart. There's something sure to please everyone!
